Studio Ghibli Cosplay options
Totoro Cosplay Outfits
Okay, let’s face it, everyone wants to be Totoro. Totoro costumes are the most commonly searched for type of Ghibli cosplay, especially around halloween. Given that Totoro is so soft and furry, it’s not surprising that the onesie rules the roost here.

Spirited Away Cosplay Outfits

As for Spirited Away cosplay, Chihiro often gets given the cold shoulder in the dress-up stakes. She just can’t compete with that strangely enigmatic no-face man kaonashi. The Beatles even had a song about him “He’s a real noface man”, right. I think that’s how it went…
You can also find Haku outfits. Don’t forget Chihiro, I mean, her name is in the Japanese title of the film “Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi” right?

Kiki's Delivery Service Cosplay

If you want to do Kiki’s Delivery Service cosplay, you’ve got some simple options. At the most basic, your Kiki costume can just be a simple blue dress and bow. If you want to go deluxe, add in broom and Jiji plush. If you’ve got a man-friend, get him to put on a striped red shirt, jeans and glasses so he can be your love interest Tombo. Beware, there is a high likelihood that he will be asked at least 50 times if he is “Where’s Wally” wherever he goes.
Kiki Dress
Any of these would do the trick.
Kiki bow Headband
All of these headbands have a very Kiki-like red color option.
Kiki Broom
Kiki's Cat Jiji Plush
Howl's Moving Castle Cosplay

For Howl’s Moving Castle, the obvious choice is Sophie, with your main choice being old Sophie or young Sophie. The big challenge here is finding the ye olde style dress, for which buying a ready made one is the simple way to. Then you just need a simple white apron to go over the top.
For men Howl himself is a logical character, or perhaps you could cover yourself bits-o-junk to be the castle itself.
Princess Mononoke Cosplay

If you want to unleash your inner wild child, then it’s time to un-closet your Princess Mononoke costume! Think red face paint for blood, daggers, furry capes. A boney necklace helps a lot!
